The Product & Design Work of Amanda Arnson
Project 1
Creating a Clothing Line
In 10th grade I began a clothing line under the label “arnson”
I designed, sourced fabrics, and sewed 2 pc sets that I sold on Depop and on my own website
Project 2
Mock Campaign for Lee Jeans
A redesign and definition of Lee Jeans with a headliner “Made From the Earth, Roam the Earth”
Speaking to customers who want sustainable 100% cotton pieces sourced from earths natural ecosystem, made to be worn everyday all day through all activities; work, hiking, day to night.
Project 3
Mock Editorial Video for Rick Owens
On this project I worked with 3 classmates to curate a story, put together a editorial, mock magazine, and produce 4 advertisement films
Our chosen brand was Rick Owens, with the concept/collection title “Grounded”
our story is seen through being grounded through yoga, within your confidence and energy, as well as through death and being grounded for life
Project 4
Top Designed by Me
A top made from scrap fabrics and buttons. Before returning to school post summer break I gathered a few things from my mom’s garage for a project. I draped, pattern drafted, and sewed a top with internal lining/finishings.
Who Am I?
I fill my life with the joys of backpacking, surfing, weightlifting, and marathon running.
With a love of naturalistic materials I am moved by the evolution of art and how it is presented in apparel. A strong, structured, efficient, detail- and impact-oriented artist with a focus on accessory design/construction.
